Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be an engineer to join?
No! Our member base has a diverse spread of majors. While we do take on are engineering projects, we also have a lot of grants, outreach, activities, and other non-engineering efforts to complete these projects. As long as you have a passion for service and are willing to put in work, you can be a part of EWB!
Do I have to apply for a project team to be a part of EWB?
No, while project teams are a huge focus of our organization, our general body has monthly meetings, social events, and open project teams.  We encourage you to regularly attend general body meetings so you can stay informed about what is going on in the chapter and be a part of our chapter’s growth and development. Also, the local and fundraising teams are open, meaning you are always welcome to attend meetings or events and contribute your time and skills.
Who do I contact if something on the attendance sheet is incorrect?
If you didn’t get an attendance point for something you should have, or if your listed information is incorrect, please shoot a brief email to vp_development@ewbncsu.org explaining what needs to be updated.
